Drug Take-Back Day

The Door County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 29, 11 am – 2 pm, at the Brussels Fire Station, 1080 Cty C; the Sister Bay Fire Station, 2258 Mill Road; and the Door County Sheriff’s Office, 1201 S. Duluth Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. 

Take prescription (controlled and noncontrolled) and over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, nonaerosol sprays, inhalers, creams, vials and pet medications.Do not take illegal drugs, needles/sharps, aerosol cans, biohazardous materials (anything containing a bodily fluid or blood), mercury thermometers, personal-care products (shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens) or household hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, oil, gas).
