Dual Listening Party at Studio 330

Studio 330 in Sturgeon Bay welcomes music lovers to the studio to check out the brand new recordings of Randy Bruce and local band Small Forest from 5 – 8 pm on June 6.

Small Forest’s Jeanne Kuhns and songwriter Randy Bruce have both recorded multiple solo albums with Hans Christian in the past, and so it is no surprise that Bruce decided to record his new album, Carmen in the Vineyard, with him, or that Small Forest wanted to experience recording their new album, Dream, in the atmosphere of Christian’s Studio 330.

Bruce said, “Hans Christian has been instrumental in shaping my sound in the studio and helping me realize the sound that I have envisioned.”

Kuhns agrees, and said, “Hans taught me to listen, to hear other worlds of sound, to think outside of my comfort zone. I wanted bandmates Marybeth Mattson and Pat Palmer to experience their own growth in this wonderful sound incubator environment.”

Attendees to the listening party will get to listen to the new recordings from Dream and Carmen in the Vineyard on Christian’s incredible sound system, and Bruce and Small Forest will each play a few of their new songs live in the garden (weather permitting). This dual CD listening party is free and open to the public with wine and treats to enjoy while listening and visiting from 5 – 8 pm on June 6. Studio 330 is located at 330 N.
