Duplicate Bridge Starts Again

The Door County Bridge Club, sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL), starts another season of duplicate bridge on June 5.

The club meets at the Stella Maris Catholic Church, 7710 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor, and hosts tournament-style duplicate contract bridge. Operated by ACBL-sanctioned Certified Director and Life Master Barbara Piester, eligible players receive masterpoints. Special games are planned throughout this summer, which allow players to earn additional points as well as silver and red points.

Players are encouraged to come with a partner and prior reservations are not required. However, solo players should contact Piester at 920.868.1954 or 920.868.6113 prior to play to arrange for a partner. Games are scored as it is played with results available immediately following the game and online at acbl.org.

Duplicate bridge games are held every Tuesday at noon and every Friday at 9 am from the beginning of June through the end of September. Weekly games are $9-$10. For more information email [email protected].
