Eagles Season Ends at Brillion

The Southern Door football team’s season came to an end with a 14-6 loss to Brillion in the opening round of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 4 playoffs Friday.

Brillion took a 14-6 lead on a 10-yard run by Garnett Stebane with 1 minute, 49 seconds to play.  Southern Door drove down to the Brillion 13-yard line, but Alex Dauost’s pass to Devin Schinktgen on the last play of the game fell incomplete.

Southern Door’s lone touchdown came on a 3-yard run by Daoust early in the third quarter. The Eagles finished the season 4-4.
