Eagle players recording two hits each included Peterson, Neinas, Diller and Jared Hawkey.

Diller earned the win on the mound, striking out 11 and walking two in his six innings of work. Neinas earned a save by retiring all three Algoma batters in the seventh inning after throwing five pitches.

The Wolves had only had one baserunner after the first inning, with that runner being put out on a sixth-inning double play.
