Early Detection

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs on July 13 at 4 pm with a presentation on prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in men. While some types of prostate cancer grow slowly and may need minimal or no treatment, other types are aggressive and can spread quickly. Early detection increases the chance of successful treatment.

Come hear Jerry Mitchell Winkler, M.D. from Green Bay Oncology, discuss this topic at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Canterbury Lane in Sister Bay; this is a change of location for July.

The Ministry also offers free blood pressure screenings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia’s Church at 5 pm and at the Northern Door YMCA on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:15 – 10:15 am. For more information visit NorthernDoorHealthWellness.com.
