Earth Hour

In 2007, the World Wildlife Fund started the Earth Hour initiative, which encouraged people around the globe to turn off their lights for one hour on the last Saturday of March in awareness of climate change. This year, Earth Hour will be held at 8:30 pm local time on Saturday, March 28.
