Eat at Husby’s to Benefit Shepherd of the Bay Mission Trip

On Feb. 25 Husby’s Food and Spirits in Sister Bay will host a fundraiser for this year’s Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church mission trip to Guatemala. Youth group and adult members will travel to Guatemala during spring break, March 19 – 27. To aid widows and children in rural Guatemala, the group will typically build two to four homes, install efficient wood-burning stoves, and provide clean drinking water through simple and economical household water filtration systems. The group must raise the funds for all project materials as well as travel expenses. For this one-day event, tell your server that you are there to support the Shepherd of the Bay mission trip, and 50 percent of your tab will be donated to the group.
