Eclectic Edge

The Door County Art League (DCAL) Gallery presents “The Eclectic Edge,” a special display of photographs, paintings and multi-media art, Aug. 30 – Sept. 5 at the Top of the Hill Shops on Hwy 42, Fish Creek. In addition, the gallery will host a reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres on Aug. 30, 3 – 5 pm. Both the reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

The featured artists for this special exhibit include Stephanie Holznecht, Gale Ritchey, Steve Stanger, Arlene Stanger, Gretchen Misselt, Bethany Kirwen and Clarence Scherer.

According to Ritchey, director of the gallery, “The Eclectic Edge showcase exhibit is a special collection from our gallery members who are known for using special effects in photography and/or for their interest in abstractions. Several of these artists have won awards with their innovative concepts and formats.”

The DCAL gallery is open every day except Wednesday from 11 am to 5 pm (3 pm on Sundays). It is located in the rear courtyard of the Top of the Hill Shops in Fish Creek. For more information visit doorcountyartleague.org.
