Edgewood Orchard Galleries Celebrates Final Exhibit of the Season

“Still Life with Lace” by Sally Berner.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries will celebrate the opening of its final show of the 2013 season with a reception on Sept. 28, 1 – 5 pm. The exhibit includes a group show titled “Gifts from the Heart” in the gallery’s restored fruit barn and an individual show by painter Sally Berner in The Courtyard Gallery. Berner will also put on a painting demonstration from 2 – 4 pm in the courtyard.

Gallery owners Nell & J.R. Jarosh are excited to share Berner’s new body of work. “Its Sally’s first feature show at Edgewood, and we love the pieces she has created,” J.R. shared.

Discussing her background as a painter, Berner explains, “I have been an active oil painter for over 25 years, creating realistic oil paintings that are inspired by my love for nature and all the creatures that share our planet.”

Edgewood Orchard Galleries’ “Gift from the Heart” show will include jewelry pieces from Michael Vincent Michaud.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries’ 15th annual “Gifts from the Heart” show includes pieces of artwork ideal for gift-giving from many of Edgewood’s accomplished artists. Items include: smaller paintings, mirrors, a new selection of glass snowmen, holiday ornaments, jewelry, clay pieces and holiday stationary items. Free holiday gift wrapping is available for all items.

Also available for gift-giving is the Edgewood Orchard cookbook, An Artist’s Food for the Soul. Cookbook sales have now raised over $120,000 for not-for-profit programs designed to benefit children. The cookbook is full of recipes, artwork, and stories.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries is located at 4140 Peninsula Players Road, one block east of Highway 42, between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. The current exhibit will be open 10 am – 5 pm daily until the gallery closes for the season on Nov. 3.
