Edgewood Orchard Galleries Closes with a Reception

Edgewood Orchard Galleries will be closing for the 2009 season on Sunday, November 1 at 5 pm. A “Closing Day Reception” will be held on Sunday, from 10 am until 5 pm, to say “Thank You” to all of the visitors to the gallery who helped make the 2009 season a success. Refreshments will be served throughout the day, and the public is welcome.

Sunday, November 1 will also mark the close of the gallery’s final show of the season, Exhibit V, titled “Inspire,” featuring a show of work by painter Tom Nachreiner and other inspiring pieces from many of the150 artists that are represented at Edgewood Orchard Galleries. The final exhibit of Edgewood Orchard’s season also includes the gallery’s 11th annual “Gifts from the Heart” show of artwork especially good for gift-giving, with many beautiful Holiday ornaments still available. Free holiday gift wrapping is available.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries was opened in 1969 by Irene Haberland and her daughter Anne, and is now owned and operated by Anne’s daughter and son-in-law, Nell and J.R. Jarosh. Recognized nationally for its exhibit of outstanding artwork in all media, the main gallery is housed in a beautifully restored stone fruit barn built in 1918. Edgewood Orchard Galleries is located on Peninsula Players Road, one block east of Highway 42, between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. Regular summer and fall hours are 10 am to 5 pm daily.
