Edgewood Orchard Galleries’ Exhibit III Opens

Edgewood Orchard Galleries will be hosting a reception for the opening of its third exhibit of the season on Saturday, July 18 from 4 – 7 pm. Wine and hors d’ouevres will be served in the gallery courtyard, and the public is welcome.

Edgewood Orchard’s Exhibit III, running through August 18, will feature the artwork of glass artists George Bucquet and Mark Peiser, painters Flora Langlois, Michele Dangelo and George Shipperley, jeweler Marcia McDonough and steel furniture maker Jim Rose. All seven featured artists will be traveling to Fish Creek to be at the opening reception, and they will give short talks about their artwork at 5 pm in the gallery courtyard.

In addition to the artwork by the seven artists featured in Exhibit III, artwork from the over 150 artists that Edgewood Orchard Galleries represents on an ongoing basis can be viewed in the gallery buildings and surrounding sculpture gardens daily from 10 am until 5 pm.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries is located at 4140 Peninsula Players Road, one block east of Highway 42 between Juddville and Fish Creek. Opened on June 29, 1969 by Irene Haberland and her daughter Anne, the gallery is now in its 40th anniversary season and third generation of family ownership, currently under the direction of Irene’s granddaughter Nell and her husband J.R.
