Edgewood Orchard Galleries Host Exhibit III Reception

“Silver Light” by Gretchen Klug, who will demonstrate her palette knife painting technique on July 21, 1-3 pm.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries will host the Exhibit III reception on July 20, 4 – 7 pm. This exhibit features the artwork of painters Gretchen Klug, Michele Dangelo and Rozanne Hubbard, jeweler Marcia McDonough, glass artist George Bucquet, and steel furniture maker Jim Rose. The artists will speak about their artwork at 5 pm in the gallery courtyard. Klug will also demonstrate her palette knife painting technique in the courtyard on July 21, 1 – 3 pm.

Klug is well known for her use of light in forest and water scenes.

Dangelo’s distinctive painting style centers around a basic icon like a house, a boat or a dress – infused with vigorous but reserved energy.

Rozanne Hubbard’s show is a compilation of intimate landscapes, each one possessing an ethereal feeling – characteristic of Hubbard’s artwork.

Bucquet expertly works with precision and timing to create each bowl – hand detailed with copper, silver or gold leaf.

McDonough’s love of antique jewelry and modern design culminated in her creation of Mack & Bancker, her own jewelry collection.

Rose lives and works in Forestville. He hand builds furnishings inspired by early American furniture and historic quilts with found rusted and painted steel.

Exhibit III will be displayed through August 7. Edgewood Orchard Galleries is located at 4140 Peninsula Players Road, midway between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. For more information, call 920.868.3579 or visit edgewoodorchard.com.
