Edgewood Orchard Releases New Cookbook

Following the publication of two previous benefit cookbooks, both of which sold out, Edgewood Orchard Galleries owners Nell and J.R. Jarosh have compiled a third – Artist’s Food For Joy – that is now for sale at Edgewood Orchard and other locations in the county.

The full $25 purchase price will be donated to not-for-profit organizations benefiting children, with a goal of raising $200,000 to donate by selling all 8,000 cookbooks. The first cookbook, in 2004, raised $76,000; the second, in 2009, raised another $150,000.

As Edgewood Orchard (edgewoodorchard.com) approached its 50th season, thoughts of a third cookbook began to percolate, and an impressive collection of images of artwork and photos from the past 50 years were collected to pair with each of the 250-plus recipes.
