Educational Presentation on Cannabis Held March 26

The Door County Alcohol and Other Drug Coalition will host an educational  presentation and Q&A session about cannabis on March 26, 6-7:30 pm, at Hope Church in Sturgeon Bay. The event is free and open to the community.

The presentation will explore the history of cannabis, its effects on the body and brain, decriminalization and legalization to provide attendees with information to help them determine their thoughts about cannabis. The presentation comes in advance of the spring elections, when the City of Sturgeon Bay and Village of Egg Harbor will be including an advisory referendum on their ballots to ask their residents whether they support recreational and medicinal cannabis.
