Educational Program for Caregivers Offered at Scandia Village

“Powerful Tools for Caregivers,” offered at Scandia Village in Sister Bay, is an educational program for friends and relatives acting as caregivers for an adult with a chronic medical condition. Classes consist of six weekly 90-minute sessions, every Thursday, 10 – 11:30 am, May 16 – June 20. Interactive lessons, discussions and brainstorming are part of the course.

A $10 registration fee includes all materials, including the Powerful Tools for Caregivers Helpbook. Scholarship funds are available. Respite Care and transportation assistance is also available upon request.

Class size is limited and registration is required.
