Coming up, Crossroads at Big Creek will offer singing, exercise, and lots of good will as 2010 comes to a close.

On December 27 and 28 at 1 pm, A Door County Pioneer Christmas will take place. Learners of all ages can join members of the Door County Historical Society to recreate a simpler time by making decorations, singing, and cutting a tree. Another free and family friendly program held at the Collins Learning Center is “The Inner Planets” on December 30 at 2 pm. Everyone is invited to learn about the inner planets through multi-media presentations and activities, including edible models (please call ahead with dietary restrictions).

Crossroads will close the year with a sunset hike on December 31 at 4:15 pm. Clouds permitting, participants will enjoy the final sunset of the year and be back to the parking lot before dark.
