Egg Harbor Gets $400,000 More for Marina

The Wisconsin Waterways Comission granted an additional $400,000 to the Village of Egg Harbro for its new Harbor of Refuge and marina Friday. The grant is in addition to the $1.185 million awarded the village in 2008.

“This new funding further reduces the tax liability for Egg Harbor property owners and we are very grateful to the commissioners for their confidence in our project,” said Harbor Committee Chairman Mike Fitzgerald.

“This has been a week of breath-taking excitement for us,” Village President Nancy Fisher said.
