Egg Harbor Historical Society Prepping for 150th

• The Egg Harbor Historical Society is busy preparing for next year’s 150th anniversary of the founding of Egg Harbor. Launched this year, the society is offering lifetime founding memberships for $100 through the end of 2010. Individual memberships are also available for $15, family memberships for $25, and business memberships are $50. • Due to the New Year holiday, recycling for the Town of Gibraltar will be held on Jan. 8, 2011 instead of Jan. 1. Call Going Garbage & Recycling at 920.854.2114 with any questions.

• Recycling in the Town of Baileys Harbor will be held at the fire station Thursday, Dec. 23 from noon to 4 pm due to the Christmas holiday. It will return to its regular schedule in January.
