Egg Harbor Hosts Eggy Chalk Art Contest

Sidewalk-chalk artists, enthusiasts and first-timers are invited to display their skills at Egg Harbor’s Eggy Chalk Art contest June 21, 9 am – 1 pm, at the Kress Pavilion.

Canvases will be roughly four-foot-by-four-foot sidewalk squares – with a twist. To celebrate the return of EGGstravaganza, participants are encouraged to incorporate an egg shape in their design, and egg stencils in several sizes will be provided.

The Egg Harbor Library will host games and crafts for everyone to enjoy, and the Egg Harbor Business Association will provide refreshments.

Eggy Chalk Artists will participate in three categories: under age 11,  ages 12 to 18, and age 19 and older. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in the teen and adult categories; youth may participate for free. Sign up online at eggharbordoorcounty.org.
