The Village of Egg Harbor is kicking off a public-engagement process to help the village develop a new Comprehensive Plan.
Such a plan is a blueprint that guides the village for the next 20 years. It will address topics to include land use and development, housing, mobility, recreation and culture. The planning process involves gathering ideas from residents, business owners, the workforce and visitors. The public may share feedback at planning events and through a survey on the village’s website, which will be open until July.
The planning team will provide details about the process at public forums on May 31 and July 12, 1-3 pm, at the Kress Pavilion. People may also visit the Envision Egg Harbor pop-up booths at select Friday farmers’ markets and Peg Egan Sunset Concerts or complete a comment card at the Envision Egg Harbor 2040 display available daily at the Kress Pavilion. To learn more or take the survey, visit villageofeggharbor.org or search for Envision Egg Harbor 2040 on Facebook.
