Egg Harbor to Decide Monday

The Village of Egg Harbor Board of Trustees met for more than three hours Thursday to discuss its marina project.

The board heard a presentation from Steve Schaefer detailing an alternative, mid-sized marina option developed by residents who voted against a larger, slightly more costly plan proposed by the village May 26.

The board did not make a decision on which plan to move forward with, but did vote to set a referendum date for Tuesday, July 28. Monday morning, June 22nd, the village Dock Committee will meet to make a recommendation to the board, and a special board meeting will be held Monday night to choose referendum language and a plan to take to the voters.
