Egg Harbor’s Peg Egan PAC Announces 2011 Summer Concert Series

The Peg Egan Performing Arts Center is thrilled to announce a crowd-pleasing line-up of nationally acclaimed artists for its 2011 Summer Sunset Concert Series. Located in Eames Cherry View Park in Egg Harbor, the outdoor amphitheater offers scenic views over the harbor and has ground room for 2,000 visitors. Blankets or lawn chairs are recommended.

“We believe the Peg Egan PAC adds another layer of artistic excellence in the county,” said Nancy Fisher, Egg Harbor Village president. “The confluence of room tax revenue and this beautiful performance venue means that we can offer these programs free of charge.”

The concert dates are: June 26 – BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet; July 2 – Saline Fiddlers; July 3 – Egg Harbor Fireworks; July 10 – Taj Weekes & Adowa; July 17 – Five by Design; July 24 – 100% Natural; July 31 – Harry Manx; August 7 – Shout Sister Shout; and August 14 – The Best of the Big Top Chautauqua.

The concerts begin at 7 pm and are free to the public. The series is sponsored by the Village of Egg Harbor, Ministry Door County Medical Center, the Bronner Foundation, the Kevin Egan Family, and Leinenkugel’s / Triangle Distributing.
