Elkhom to Create Egg Harbor Mural

“Autumn – Wandering Road, Fish Creek” by Judi Ekholm

Judi Ekholm will create a colorful mural that extends seven-feet by five-feet on the exterior of the Paul Bertschinger Community Center in Egg Harbor. The art will resemble the nature around Egg Harbor by displaying a meadow that features the sky, water and a sailboat.

Ekholm is honored to have this opportunity. “I am pleased that my work was chosen for this project because I believe that art should be viewed in everyday life, not just in gallery or museum settings,” said Ekholm. She also believes that the project will help stretch her artistic boundaries and make a positive statement about Door County.
