Elle-jé Freeheart at Lost Moth Gallery

Lost Moth Gallery ( is featuring Elle-jé Freeheart’s two mini sculpture series – Egg Heads and Lollipop Ladies – through Aug. 15.

Freeheart is a figurative and narrative sculptor, writer and emotional archaeologist whose subject matter is emotions. The expressive attitudes and character traits of her female forms provide the viewer with a dose of honesty, edginess and thought-provoking content.

Art analyst and writer Tracy Hudak said of her work, “Freeheart explores the psychology of these beings that look at us with delight, or as captured souls in fragmented bodies, palpitating with a contained erotism.”
