Ellison Bay Galleries Host First Gallery Nite

Ellison Bay Arts holds their first Gallery Nite, June 23, 4-7 pm, right after Uncork Summer. Sample great food and entertainment, then head out to the galleries. There are nine participating galleries with prizes and drawings at each location.

Turtle Ridge Gallery – Boutique features their jewelry artists with a continuation of “June is Jewelry Month” celebration. Turtle Ridge will have a drawing for one of their Art Camps.

Clay Bay Pottery features a variety of pieces including bowls, mugs, new ladies and Shoreline girls. Sign up for a chance to win a personal, tile hand-building class in the studio.

Walk the grounds of The Clearing and visit the Bookstore and Gift Shop. Enjoy some lemonade and sign up for their door prize when you are at the bookstore.

Stop by Gills Rock Pottery and see the latest table settings, serving pieces, table linens and wooden utensils. Garden pottery will also be featured.

Sutra is a fine art and photo gallery specializing in Indian contemporary and tribal art, along with fine art photography by Sutra proprietor Abbey Box.

Island Orchard Cider specializes in Normandy style ciders. Our family produces traditional French ciders. See where these handcrafted ciders are fermented and bottled.

Ellison Bay Pottery makes handmade functional stoneware and raku fired and pit fired decorative ceramic art. During this special event, John Dietrich and Diane McNeil will raku fire fish sculptures. Enter a drawing to choose a pre-made fish sculpture and glaze, then fire it in the raku kiln with the potters help.

Linden Gallery invites the community to trunk shows and silk painting demonstrations by artists who are new to the Door County scene. Linden Gallery also offers a traditional Chinese tea set for the drawing, with directions for experiencing a Bai tea ceremony.

Visit the Rob Williams Studio/Gallery among the birches and see Rob’s bold contemporary landscapes and Shirley’s black and white photography. Enjoy refreshments and a chance to win an original painting.
