Ellison Bay Pottery Opens for 45th Year

Ellison Bay Pottery begins its 45th year with a soft opening on May 1. John Dietrich bought Driftwood Farms in 1974 and transformed it into a must-visit pottery studio and gallery. Over the years, he has created his own distinctive style, and his functional “art for everyday” is not his only passion: Dietrich has also explored pit-firing pottery, raku and naked raku. Ellison Bay Pottery is open 10 am – 5 pm Monday through Saturday, with holiday exceptions.
