Ellison Bay Service Club Readies for Summer Festivals

Ellison Bay Service Club members Gary and Michelle Kemp raise one of 42 American flags along Highway 42 outside Ellison Bay’s historic Hotel Disgarden in preparation for Flag Day, Olde Ellison Bay Days and Independence Day.

The Ellison Bay Service Club has busily prepared for summer festivals by setting up flags and a kiosk. Club members placed American flags along Highway 42 from Grand View Scenic Overlook and Park to Baylake Bank for Olde Ellison Bay Days and Independence Day.

They also set up a Scandinavian-style kiosk, crafted by Ellison Bay Service Club members, near the Visitor Information chalet. The kiosk displays current events and attractions around the community.

“We thank all of our members who spend their time and work so hard to make Ellison Bay an even more beautiful, friendly and accommodating place for visitors as well as residents,” said Ellison Bay Service Club president, Kim Maedke-Shumway.
