Ellison Bay Solar Project Featured in State Solar Tour

The Cottage Glen Homeowner’s Association (CGHOA) in Ellison Bay recently installed a 14.1 kW solar system on their recreation center and will be participating in the Midwest Renewable Energy Association 2011 Solar Tour on October 1 from 10 am – 4 pm. CGHOA welcome visitors who are interested in viewing the installation, which produces about 15 percent of the electric needs of the facility.

The project coordinator, Cottage Glen homeowner Duane Kexel, will be available to discuss project performance, economics, environmental impacts, and the special organizational challenges for a homeowner’s association in developing such a project.
