Emerson Series Presents Baritone Keith Harris

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County (UUFDC) is pleased to announce the next performance in its Emerson Cultural Series. On April 23, baritone Keith Harris, accompanied by Kenneth Bozeman, will perform selections by a variety of composers including Scarlatti, Schumann, Ravel, Gershwin and Finzi.

Harris, who currently resides in New York City, holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Lawrence University and a Masters of Music from University of Washington-Seattle. He has impressed audiences by the range and warmth of his voice, impeccable diction, acting skills and the passion he brings to his stage roles. He enjoys a diverse opera, recital and oratorio career, with performances throughout the United States.

Bozeman is Chair of the Voice Department and Frank C. Shattuck Professor of Music at Lawrence Conservatory of Music. Bozeman was an active performer of recitals and of oratorio, including singing the tenor roles. He has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, the Green Lake Music Festival, the Purgatory Music Festival of Colorado, the Louisville Bach Society, the Historical Keyboard Society of Wisconsin, and on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Live from the Elvehjem.”

The concert will be held on April 23, 7:30 PM, at UUFDC, 10341 Water Street (Hwy 42), Ephraim. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Introduced by the late Erik Eriksson, the purpose to the series is to provide cultural opportunities to members of the Door County community.
