‘Emissary’ Screening

The Emissary lands at The Kress Pavilion on Nov. 2, 6 pm. Come early to make an alien-repelling hat.

In the film, when a lone space traveler named Koyper lands his spaceship in Newport State Park — only to be witnessed by three Door County locals out on a sunset meditation walk — a life-saving and heartwarming adventure begins.

Enter a raffle for the opportunity to win an Emissary DVD, an origami spaceship kit, and other movie merchandise. Starting at 6:30 pm, the short A Day in the Life of Neutron the Cat will start out the night followed by the feature film. After the show meet director Tim Erskine, co-producer Holly Erskine and cast members. Register before the event to receive free pizza, popcorn and candy.

Stargazing will follow the screening if weather permits; it will be led by Holly Erskine. Bring warm clothing as it is likely to be quite chilly. This is a free event. Register at kresspavilion.org/emissary, or call Holly Cole at 920.868.2664.
