Emotive Exhibition

“Isolation” by Jamaica Schroedl.

The first exhibition in The Depot Performing Arts Center features the paintings, drawings and prints of Jamaica Schroedl. Schroedl’s artwork is also included on the set of Rogue Theater’s current production of The Belgian Detective.

Schroedl graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 2012. She is currently a student at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and her work has been presented locally at the Miller Art Museum, the Door County Art League, and Kick Coffee in Sturgeon Bay. Her passion is to draw and paint using a variety of mixed media. Her artwork is expressive and portrays many emotions. She tries to keep her pieces as realistic as possible so viewers can fully capture the meaning and relate to her artwork.

The exhibition is open before and after all scheduled performances at The Depot and will run through the end of August. “Artwork by Jamaica” can also be seen on Facebook.
