Enjoy the Last of the Fall Color during Crossroads Hikes

Water and fall colors are on the agenda this weekend at Crossroads at Big Creek

On Oct. 25, 3:30 pm, the Friday Film will be “The State of the Water”: the lecture that Joel Brammeier presented during the 2019 Water Summit. He’s president of the Alliance for the Great Lakes. The film will be screened in the Collins Learning Center’s lecture hall.

Get a look at the last fall colors and signs of the season by joining the Crossroads naturalist Oct. 26, 9 am, for a fall walk. Meet at the Collins Learning Center.

On Oct. 27, 4 pm, spend about an hour checking out the remaining colors at the Ida Bay Preserve. Meet at the small parking lot at the intersection of Buffalo Ridge Trail and Canal Road. 

Crossroads at Big Creek is a donor-supported environmental center comprising three preserves. The Collins Learning Center, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open 10 am – 4 pm daily and during scheduled events.
