Enter Miss Door County 2014 Competition through Sept. 21

Women between the ages of 17 and 24 are eligible to compete for the title of Miss Door County 2014 on Feb. 1, 2014, at the Southern Door Auditorium.

Areas of competition are: interview, talent, evening wear and swimsuit. Last year scholarships totaling more than $11,000 were awarded to participants.

The Outstanding Teen competition is for young women between the ages of 13 and 17 (not a senior in high school). There is a $250 entry fee, which can be sponsored, and the winner will represent Door County at the Miss Wisconsin Teen Pageant in Oshkosh. Competition will be in four areas: interview, evening gown, talent and active wear.

Girls between the ages of 5 and 8 can once again participate in the Miss Door County Princess program. Entry fee is $75.
