Entertaining Pieces at TR Pottery

Autumn is a time when Tony and Renée Gebauer are inspired to create pieces designed for entertaining. They have been working to fill their gallery with cheese plates, chip and dip sets, wine chillers, serving bowls and brie bakers.

“Fall is a busy entertaining time for us. Out-of-town friends and relatives like to visit when the larger summer crowds have thinned,” said Tony. “It is a season when we are beginning to have more time to spend with guests.”

The Gebauers’ forms are both classic and traditional. The variety of shapes they make means that visitors can find the perfect pieces for their entertaining. Glaze colors in blues, greens, tans and browns assure that pieces purchased will coordinate with pieces customers already have in their collections.

In addition to the pottery focusing on entertaining and serving pieces, TR Pottery sells a wide variety of other functional shapes including dinnerware, mugs, cups, vases, candle pillars, spoon rests, and more.

TR Pottery is a working studio and gallery located on Highway 42 in Fish Creek, next to The Cookery. The gallery is open most days through Oct. 27. For more information visit trpottery.com.
