The Corner of the Past historical museum in Sister Bay has many activities coming up throughout August. “Quilts of the Century” is the theme chosen by the Sturgeon Bay Quilters Guild for their upcoming exhibit at the museum.

The Door County Sail & Power Squadron is offering a GPS seminar at SkipperBud’s Quarter Deck Marina on Aug. 11 from 9 – 11 am. GPS has become a common tool for navigation; however, using GPS on the water is distinctly different from a moving map display in a car.

Noble Museum Presents “A House in Mourning”
“A House in Mourning” is the special exhibit of Victorian Era funeral items on display at the Alexander Noble House Museum in Fish Creek. The museum is “in mourning” to depict the September 1905 death of Alexander Noble with windows, doors and mirrors draped in black crape, and the clocks have been stopped at the time of Noble’s death.
