Ellison Bay Service Club Shows Documentary for Monthly Meeting
The Ellison Bay Service Club will hold its monthly membership meeting at 7 pm on November 18 in The Jensen Center at The Clearing in Ellison Bay. The public is welcome to attend the meeting, during which the film A Sense of Wonder: The Life and Work of Rachel Carson will be shown.

GHA Hosts Final “Gibraltar Talks” November 11
The Gibraltar Historical Association (GHA) is wrapping up its “Gibraltar Talks” series for 2010 on Thursday, November 11 at 7:30 pm. GHA will present, Gibraltar Talks…Door County’s Oldest Trees at the Old Town Hall in Fish Creek which is located at the corner of Maple and Spruce Streets.

Savory Spoon Offers Tasty Classes
On Friday, October 8 at 6 pm, the Savory Spoon Cooking School of Ellison Bay will offer “Harvest Meals,” featuring fall flavors at their best. Using fresh vegetables from Horsley Gardens and North Bay Road Farms in Sister Bay, participants will prepare Saganaki with sauté of honey crisp on greens, leeks and potatoes, schnitzel will black olive crust, and sweet potato tart will red wine caramel.
