Door County Fiddle Fest Features The Blue & The Blond
The second annual Door County Fiddle Fest will be held Aug. 21 at 7 pm and features Vidar Skrede with The Blue & The Blond and Door County Fiddlers. The Blue & The Blond is where Finnish kantele meets Norwegian hardingfele, strings sounding with voices, tunes and songs are approached with warmth; or in other words, a folk music duo with a Nordic horizontal polarity.
