Door County summers are made for live music! Check out a show in a bar, a sunset concert in the park in almost any village, a professional performance venue, or a concert in a rustic barn. Door County’s live music scene features every genre, local favorites and nationally touring artists.

  • “Harmony by the Bay” Returns to Sturgeon Bay

    The City of Sturgeon Bay announced the return of their free summer concert series, “Harmony by the Bay.” There will be 10 performances every Wednesday night starting on June 20 through August 29 in Martin Park.

  • June Music Series at Cookery’s Wine Bar

    The Cookery’s Wine Bar will host a music series throughout June on Thursday nights. The series will kickoff with Kalen Rainbow Kier on June 7. Kalen returns to his Door County roots to play a handful of good-hearted and soulful melodies, stretching from folk favorites to rocking and rolling originals.

  • Alt-Rockers Cracker Kicks Off DCA Season

    In conjunction with the Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k, Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present a soulful performance by iconic alt-rock band Cracker on May 5 at 7 pm.

  • Husby’s, Bowl Team Up for Half Marathon Post-party

    May 5, Husby’s Food & Spirits will host live music and serve food at their Garage Bar. Alt-folk rockers The Nicks will play at the outdoor bar or under a tent if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

    Richard Whitney introduced a new band, The Bloody Crows, coming out with their debut album, Illegal American Alien. The band will celebrate their digital release of the album at the Red Room in Sturgeon Bay on April 28 beginning at 10 pm.

    Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) is hosting Green Tea, an original indie roots rock band, on April 28 at 7:30 pm. The band formed at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and has various musical roots from Celtic fusion to indie.

  • Fairland Bluegrass Band Playing Sister Bay, Southern Door

    The Fairland Bluegrass Band will perform a concert at the Sister Bay Village Hall on April 28 at 7 pm and the Southern Door Community Auditorium (SDCA) on May 6 at 2 pm.

  • Lost Mothra at TAP

    Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) will present Lost Mothra as part of their Tuesday night concert series on May 1 at 7:30 pm. Lost Mothra’s original songs and eclectic covers are supported by Jeanne Kuhns’ silky smooth vocals, Patrick Palmer’s celebrated, creative bass playing and the excellent guitar playing of George Sawyn.

  • Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris Headline Auditorium Slate

    Season includes return of Carlile, Ruthie Foster, Elephant Revival and Keb Mo, plus an Abba Tribute.

  • The Nicks Play the Cookery

    The Cookery kicks off their music season with The Nicks on May 10 at 7 pm. The Door County favorites are a duo that play guitar and mandolin and perform an eclectic mix of music.

    Sturgeon Bay’s Steel Bridge Songfest 2012 discounted weekend passes are now on sale. The songfest is set for June 7 – 10 and features over 10 venues around Sturgeon Bay and boasts 150 bands and solo artists performing original music over the span of four days and three nights.
