Door County summers are made for live music! Check out a show in a bar, a sunset concert in the park in almost any village, a professional performance venue, or a concert in a rustic barn. Door County’s live music scene features every genre, local favorites and nationally touring artists.

  • TAP Features the Hagen Family

    The Hagen Family brings their legendary tradition of music back to the Third Avenue Playhouse for one performance on Saturday, August 28 at 7:30 pm. Often referred to as Door County’s version of the Von Trapps, the family members learned to sing and play from their father, Jack.

  • Mackintosh and Detor to Perform at Woodwalk

    On Friday, August 20 at the Woodwalk Concert Series, Door County favorite Adam Mackintosh will perform.

  • Door Community Auditorium Features Brandi Carlile

    Contemporary folk-rock singer Brandi Carlile will grace the Door Community Auditorium with her dynamic presence on Sunday, August 22 at 8 pm. Since her major-label debut in 2005, Carlile’s career has exploded on the folk-rock scene.

  • Miss Meaghan Owens & Ryan Thompson

    Miss Meaghan Owens fuses glamour and grit with jazz, folk, country, and indie and says she “writes songs that are small fictions of the Americana sound-scape.”

  • Water Street Hots Shots Perform at Woodwalk Gallery

    On Friday, August 13 at 7 pm, the Water Street Hot Shots, winners of the 2009 Grafton Blues Challenge, will perform at Woodwalk Gallery. The Water Street Hot Shots draw from acoustic musical styles of the 1920s and ‘30s.

  • Peg Egan Presents Howard Levy

    On Sunday, August 15 at 7 pm Howard Levy with special guest Chris Siebold, will end the Peg Egan PAC series with a powerful performance offered free to the public.

  • The Hollands! Perform in Jacksonport

    On Saturday, August 14, The Hollands! will perform at Jacksonport’s Concert in the Park. The Hollands! will be accompanied by concert cellist and Door County resident, Kim Souther.

  • Parks and Phillips Perform

    The Historical Village at Crossroads of Big Creek will feature Pamela Parks and Dan Phillips performing sets of music from 1:30 – 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 15.

  • All One Ark

    A concert event featuring a foam tub, music by national touring artists Pamela Means, Dorothy Scott, Hans Christian, and Julian Hagen, and a showing of the documentary film Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap Box.

  • Acoustic Thursdays at Glas

    Glas, the green coffeehouse, has just three concerts left in their summer concert series, “Acoustic Thursdays at Glas.” The concerts are free and open to the public and feature a variety of artists from around the Midwest, each with a unique acoustic style.

  • Gaelic Storm at DCA

    World-renown Celtic band, Gaelic Storm, will perform at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek on Sunday, August 15 at 8 pm.

  • Copper Box

    Open your ears to the colorful sounds “like a Texas Tornado that went through New Orleans and landed in Wisconsin,” as proclaimed by Copper Box.

  • Jeanne Kuhns & Lost Mothra Open for Adam Mackintosh & Friends

    Let the magical evening commence as two sets of amazing musicians take the same stage in a historic barn at Woodwalk Gallery. Concert series coordinator, artist, singer, and songwriter Jeanne Kuhns will be performing with Lost Mothra to open the evening; Lost Mothra members also include Patrick Palmer on both stand-up and electric bass, violinist Lynn Gudmundsen, and guitarist George Sawyn.

  • Bayside Welcomes LMO to Fish Creek

    Since getting their start at open mics around Door County in 2001, Little Marsh Overflow (LMO) has been rocking the Midwest. Originally a six-piece lineup, for the past five years LMO has consisted of four members – Joshua Gregory, Wade Coisman, Mark Weber, and Kai Andersen.

  • Rye Creek Performs at Woodwalk in Egg Harbor

    On Friday, July 30, Rye Creek will be filling the Woodwalk barn with folk, Celtic, and bluegrass style music. Attendees should be prepared to get up and dance! The group includes Ron Trellue, Terry Axline, Bob Axline, and Mike Murphy.

  • Shout Sister Shout at Peg Egan in Egg Harbor

    On Sunday, August 1 at 7 pm, the Peg Egan PAC in Egg Harbor will feature Shout Sister Shout.

  • Son’s of the Never Wrong at Sturgeon Bay’s Martin Park

    On Tuesday, August 3, Son’s of the Never Wrong will take the stage at Martin Park in Sturgeon Bay. Sons of the Never Wrong are a folk trio from Chicago made up of Bruce Roper, Deborah Lader, and Sue Demel.

  • Claudia Russell on Washington Island

    California singer/songwriter Claudia Russell and her band, the Folk Unlimited Orchestra, will perform twice in Door County this summer as part of an eight-day tour of Wisconsin and Illinois.

  • The Machine Performs Pink Floyd at DCA

    On Saturday, July 31, the Door Community Auditorium will resound with the songs of the English rock band Pink Floyd, as performed by internationally acclaimed cover band The Machine.

  • Woodwalk Concert Series

    On July 23, Woodwalk Gallery will feature Jeanne Kuhns and Lost Mothra. Performing as lead singer/songwriter/and rhythm guitar player, Jeanne Kuhns connects to her audience with poetic lyrics.
