    The Third Avenue Playhouse Board of Directors has announced that Executive Director Judy Drew is stepping down. Drew has been at TAP’s helm since 2004 and is leaving to accept a position with The Ridges Sanctuary in Baileys Harbor.

    The Cookery’s wine bar will be featuring live music every Wednesday and Saturday during the month of August. Katie Dahl will be playing Wednesday evenings starting August 3 with the exception of August 17 when Jess Holland will be playing.

    Duke Tumatoe & The Power Trio will perform on August 3 as a part of the Harmony by the Bay music series in Sturgeon Bay’s Martin Park. Chicago-born Duke Tumatoe is a musician/showman who has retained a firm career by fusing gritty R&B, rock, blues, and funk injected with equal parts humor and gut-level sincerity.

    Dear Mary Pat, My niece got married this past weekend in Milwaukee. My husband and I got to the church early, so we got to see everyone coming in. I couldn’t help but notice some of the guests’ outfits, particularly the younger ones.
