  • Woodwalk Concert Series Kicks Off with Chris Irwin

    Tennessee native Chris Irwin will perform Friday, June 18 to begin the Woodwalk Concert series. Irwin, known for his mandolin and flat pick style guitar playing, will perform along with Lynn Gudmundsen on fiddle, Jeanne Kuhns on vocals, and Patrick Palmer on bass.

  • Sturgeon Bay Introduces Harmony by the Bay Concert Series

    Sturgeon Bay’s new summer concert series, Harmony by the Bay, features performances every Tuesday night beginning June 29 through August 3, showcasing a rich combination of seasoned performers from across the U.

  • Sunset Concert Series Begins with Corky Siegel and the Chamber Blues

    Corky Siegel and the Chamber Blues will take the stage at the Peg Egan Performing Art Center’s Sunset Concert Series. The free concert will take place at the Peg Egan PAC on Church Street in Egg Harbor on June 27 at 7 pm.

  • Egg Harbor’s Concerts in the Park Begins June 24

    Egg Harbor’s popular Concerts in the Park series returns, presenting live music on the bay in beautiful Harborview Park on Thursdays from June 24 through September 2.

  • DCA Features Bluegrass Band Mountain Heart

    On June 20, the Door Community Auditorium will come to life with the music of Mountain Heart, one of the most versatile and explosive ensembles on the acoustic music scene.

  • Sign Up for Door County Bluegrass Camp

    The Door County Bluegrass Camp, which will run from August 1 through August 6 at Rowleys Bay Resort in Ellison Bay, seeks campers for its summer session.

  • Lost Mothra Find Home Venue

    Singer/songwriter Jeanne Kuhns and her band Lost Mothra are set to perform monthly at Andres on the west side of Sturgeon Bay. Lost Mathra will perform from 8 – 10 pm the fourth Saturday of every month beginning June 26.

  • Tuesdays with Katie Dahl

    Katie Dahl, known for her folk-infused melodies, will be entertaining guests at the Inn at Kristofer’s Tuesday evenings throughout the summer, beginning June 15.

  • Astonishing Musical Wizardry

    Last time Béla Fleck played in Door County it was 1995. He played at the Door Community Auditorium with the Flecktones. This summer he returns with a couple of different musicians by his side.

  • Friendly Safety Reminder from YMCA

    Whether it’s the pool, the beach, the water park or the lakefront, the Door County YMCA reminds families that when in or around the water, it’s safety first.

  • Teen Night at the UUF

    The teens of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County (UUFDC) announced a new Wednesday night coffeehouse gathering called “U-Night.” The event launched on June 16, and will continue June 30, July 21, July 28, and August 18.

  • Third World Market in Ellison Bay

    Friday, June 25 marks the annual opening of Third World Marketplace at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay. Running in conjunction with the Olde Ellison Bay Days Ice Cream Social, the Marketplace, open from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, features the workmanship of artisans in developing countries from around the world.

  • Jacksonport Historical Society Presentation

    On June 23, the Jacksonport Historical Society will visit with the Charles and Eliza Olson family at the Jacksonport Town Hall. The public is welcome to attend the presentation and learn more about the Olson family history in Jacksonport, dating back to 1920.

  • Sunday Sing-Alongs Begin June 20

    Ephraim’s popular Sunday Sing-Alongs are back and long-time, charismatic song leader, Don Makuen, is looking forward to starting off the season. The tradition resumes on June 20 at 7:30 pm at the Ephraim Village Hall.

  • Olde Ellison Bay Days Introduces Pie Contest

    Pies and contests are as American as, well, pie. The Ellison Bay Service Club decided it was time to hosts its first Annual Pie Baking Contest for Olde Ellison Bay Days on June 26.

  • Door County Folk Festival

    The Door County Folk Festival (DCFF) offers a variety of dance workshops beginning Wednesday, July 7 through Sunday, July 11. Each day includes classes for beginning and intermediate dancers and focuses on a range of styles and techniques, from square dancing to salsa dancing.

  • Bridge Club Begins in Door County

    The Door County Bridge Club announces the formation of a new duplicate bridge club for the Door County area. Sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL), duplicate bridge games will be held every Tuesday at 12 pm at the Stella Maris Church, 7710 Highway 42, Egg Harbor.

  • International Yoga Instructor Teaches in Door County

    In November, Junction Center Yoga Studio will present “Freeing the Body, Freeing the Mind: Integrating Yoga Practice and Buddhist Meditation” with Michael Stone.
