    With a sound that proves you can go home again, Pure Prairie League is all about great country music. The country band favorite will perform at the Door Community Auditorium on Saturday, July 11 at 8 pm.

    The Fair Trade for Talent competition is in its third week, and Tuesday, July 14 sees three new performers and new judges.
    Singer-songwriters Brett Johnson, Debra Hadraba, and Emily Hurd will take the stage.

    National touring artist Michael Johnson will take the Door County Outpost Gallery & Café stage on Thursday, July 9 at 7:30 pm.

    An Introduction to Sea Kayaking workshop will be offered by the Team Leadership Center on Saturday, August 1 from 10 am – 3 pm.
    Geared toward novice adult sea kayakers, the workshop will cover equipment orientation, basic paddling strokes, boat control, safety, rescues, and trip planning.

    Dragonflies will be the focus of a workshop sponsored by The Ridges Sanctuary in Baileys Harbor. On Saturday, July 11 at 9 pm, Paul Burton will lead an excursion into the “wilds” of the Pickerel Pond area in search of various species of dragonflies.

  • Carlsville Day Parade & Festival To Be Held July 25

    Saturday, July 25 marks the 8th anniversary of the popular Carlsville Day Parade and Festival.
    The day opens with a parade at 10 am that promises to be full of fun floats, animals, and candy.

  • Savory Spoon to Host Afternoon Tea

    On Sunday, July 12 from 2 – 5 pm, Savory Spoon Cooking School in Ellison Bay will host afternoon tea and refreshments to discuss with the public their culinary tour to China.
