Orchard Country Winery & Market is celebrating the joys of winter with a wonderful family festival. Inviting guests of all ages to join in the fun, Winter Wine & Cherry Fest will feature games, food and beverage sampling, and horse-drawn wagon rides through the Orchard’s surrounding countryside.

Sturgeon Bay’s “Fire & Ice” Weekend Heats Up February
Sturgeon Bay hosts a “Fire & Ice” weekend of fun, February 15 – 17, 2008. The nights will be filled with musical entertainment, performances and a Saturday night dinner dance; the days will be filled with cool activities featuring a city-wide ice carving competition by local artists, free trolley rides, as well as museums and galleries hosting exhibits to entertain young and old.

With a resounding drum roll, six of Door County’s most talented young singers will step onto the Door Community Auditorium stage to compete for the title “4th Door County Idol” on Saturday, February 9, at 7 pm.

Wining and Dining Gourmet Dinner and Cooking Class At Kristofer’s
Chef Terri Milligan has announced a special cooking class and wine dinner event slated for Friday, Feb. 29 at her restaurant, The Inn at Kristofer’s. The Pacific Northwest Wining and Dining Gourmet Dinner and Cooking Class will focus on the foods and wines of Oregon, California, and Alaska.

On Saturday, February 9 come to Peninsula State Park to ski a candlelit one-mile, double-tracked trail through forest and meadow! The Candlight ski will take place from 5:30 – 8 pm and will include a bonfire with refreshments at the warming shelter.
