Music in the Gardens Singer/Songwriter Series
Music in the Gardens, held at The Flying Pig Gallery and Greenspace, located south of Algoma, will host three final concerts this season. August 23, Martha Berner, a Chicago native, will play indie/folk music.

Door Shakespeare’s education program, “Doorways: Creating Theatre for Children,” is now taking registrations for its August workshop in Egg Harbor. The acting workshop for students in first grade through high school, has gained a loyal following since its first summer in 2000.

Gala to Honor Door Shakespeare’s 10th Anniversary
On Sunday, August 17 from 6 – 9 pm, Door Shakespeare will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a musical gala at the Woodwalk Gallery in Fish Creek. The gala will feature music from Peninsula Music Festival musicians Max Huls (violin), Linda Minke (cello) and their son, Victor (flute and cello).

The Hagens bring their legendary tradition of music back to Third Avenue Playhouse for one performance on Saturday, August 9 at 7:30 pm. Often referred to as Door County’s version of the Von Trapps, the family members learned to sing and play from their late father, Jack.
