Peninsula Players Brings Ireland to Door County with ‘Outside Mullingar’
Peninsula Players’ current show transports the audience across the sea to Ireland. Playwright John Patrick Shanley, who received a Pulitzer for his play Doubt, offers here a comic tribute to his own heritage after taking a trip with his father to the family farm near the village of Killucan located Outside Mullingar.

80 Seasons of Poignant Plays and Playwrights
Peninsula Players celebrated the 80th anniversary of its first performance in July. Co-founder Richard Fisher, also a playwright, set the precedent for artistic directors to follow when selecting the lineup of works: a mix of thrills, laughs, suspense as well as classic plays and the première of new works.

“Lend Me A Tenor” Runs through Aug. 16 at Pen Players
Peninsula Players Theatre continues its 80th season July 29 – Aug. 16 when it presents Ken Ludwig’s comedy, Lend Me A Tenor. The first of Ludwig’s comedies to appear on Broadway, Lend Me A Tenor was nominated for nine Tony Awards and was awarded two and is also the winner of three Drama Desk Awards and the Olivier Award for Best Comedy of the Year.

Northern Sky is entering one of most ambitious and pivotal chapters of our long and rich history. Beginning soon, the company will kick off a capital campaign to fund the realization of two critical projects: our new creative home base being planned for the property on the southeast corner of highways A and F, and several long overdue improvements to our summer home – the amphitheater at Peninsula State Park.
