Ephraim Historical Foundation Hosts Appraisal Event featuring Mark F. Moran

The Ephraim Historical Foundation presents “What’s it Worth,” an antiques and collectibles appraisal event featuring author and antiques expert Mark F. Moran of Iola, Wisconsin, on June 30 at Ephraim Village Hall.

Moran is the former senior editor of Antiques and Collectibles Books and has also been a contributing editor for Antique Trader magazine. He has served as editor of Antique Review East magazine; and served as editorial director of F+W Media’s Antiques Group.

Moran is the author or co-author of more than 25 books on antiques and collectibles, including the 800-page annual Warman’s Antiques & Collectibles, now in its 45th edition. He specializes in vintage folk art, Americana art, and fine art.

Items that are excluded from appraisal include weapons, coins and paper money, Beanie Babies, fine jewelry, and musical instruments.

Pre-registration is required for appraisal; forms are available at http://www.ephraim.org. Cost is $15 per item, or $3 as a spectator.
