The Ephraim Historical Foundation presents the Children’s Encounter with History program, “Civil War on the Homefront” on June 27 from 11 am – 3 pm at the Anderson Barn History Center. Children can experience life in Ephraim in 1863 during the height of the civil war. They will have the opportunity to talk with Andrew Anderson, one of Ephraim’s Civil War enlistees, while dressed in period clothing. Other activities include churning butter and whitewashing.
