Ephraim Men’s Club’s Pancake Breakfast is Aug. 3

The Ephraim Men’s Club has been awarded a challenge grant – dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 – for college scholarships for Gibraltar High School graduates. The grant will supplement ticket sales for the club’s annual pancake-breakfast fundraiser on Aug. 3, 7:30-11 am, at the old Ephraim Village Hall, 9996 Water St. (Hwy 42). The cost is $10 per adult and $6 per child, and diners can win door prizes

Club President Dick Volkmann said, “With the generosity and enthusiasm of the community, we can earn the full amount of the grant so we can increase our help to Gibraltar students.”

During the past five decades, the Ephraim Men’s Club has raised roughly $240,000 for scholarships through ticket sales and contributions from businesses, Ephraim residents and club members.
