Ephraim Modifies Christmas in the Village

The Ephraim Business Council will hold a modified Christmas in the Village celebration Dec. 5. Santa Claus will arrive in Harborside Park at 5 pm in an Ephraim Fire Department vehicle, and he’ll light the Christmas tree in the gazebo to welcome the holiday season. Submitted.

The Ephraim Business Council will hold a modified Christmas in the Village celebration Dec. 5. Santa Claus will arrive in Harborside Park at 5 pm in an Ephraim Fire Department vehicle, and he’ll light the Christmas tree in the gazebo to welcome the holiday season. Attendees should wear masks and maintain social distancing.

Eagle Harbor Inn, High Point Inn, Pine Grove Resort and Vintique Resale will also distribute gift bags with a decorate-your-own children’s mask kit and holiday treat Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 before the tree lighting. 

The Ephraim Library will host a virtual story time Dec. 5, 10:30 am, on its Facebook page, and a recording will be available there until the end of the year. Grab-and-go craft kits will be available outside the library Dec. 5-12, and children’s Christmas books will also be available for pickup outside the library Dec. 5 at no charge (one per child).  

The Ephraim Moravian Church will host a drive-through event in its back parking lot, 1-4 pm, to distribute wreath-making materials, Christmas Eve candles, Watchword and Moravian sugar cake.
